Modern Vintage Opera is a Connecticut based opera company that operates out of the Farmington Valley. Our mission is to share our love of this wonderful art form with the local community and perhaps introduce some to the world of opera. While we enjoy all types of operas, we have a special interest in the lesser known and infrequently performed operas. Even though our focus may be to share some uncommon gems, we will include some classic favorites as well. Our dream is that we will inspire and invite others to share our passion.
Modern Vintage Opera is also dedicated to supporting local artists and their communities. We prioritize hiring from the very talented local base of performers and crew. We are proud to provide quality entertainment to the Hartford and Litchfield counties while fostering ties with local businesses.
